The uniqueness of our College is its exemplary achievements in the field of academic. Securing ranks to the University in the B.Com. III examination every year is a special feature of our College. In the very first year of its inception i.e., in 1974, our student Mr. A.R. Dharwadkar secured the First Rank in the B.Com. I examination. During this period of 47 years, our College has secured 57 Ranks, of which Nine are First Ranks.
Some of the outstanding achievements of our students are as follows : In 1986-87 our student N.B. Diwakar secured the First Rank (and Gold Medal) to the University. In 1985-86, we have had Three Ranks. In 1987-88 again there were Four Ranks, in 1988-89 we could get Three Ranks and in 1996-97 there were again Four Ranks. In 1997-98 there were Two Ranks; in 1998-99 Two Ranks. In 2001-02 we got Two Ranks. In 2002-03, it was two ranks, First Rank and Seventh Rank. In 2003-04, Three Ranks i.e., First, Second and Tenth Rank. In 2006-07, it was two ranks- First and Seventh. It was four ranks in 2010-11- Second, Fourth , Fifth and Eighth. In 2014-15 it was three ranks- Third, Fifth and Eighth. It was two ranks in 2016-17 with First and Seventh rank. Two ranks in 2017-18- Third and Tenth. It was for the first time since its inception that BCA section secured a rank – First rank to the University.
Overall in a period of 48 years, our students have secured 57 ranks and 10 Gold Medals from Karnatak University, Dharwad.
